Living intertwined with nature for centuries, humanity has skillfully used the wool obtained from animal husbandry both in daily life and in art. Wool is a natural, breathable and durable fiber obtained from the hair of animals such as sheep, alpaca, llama and goat. With these properties, it has become an indispensable material in both traditional and modern handicrafts.

Felt is perhaps one of the first textile materials in human history, formed by the interlocking of wool fibers with the help of force and pressure.

With its seamless and freely shapable structure, it has been used for thousands of years in many different fields

The art of felt, which has a deep place in Anatolian culture, comes to life again today with modern interpretations.

It is symbol of naturalness, manual labor and sustainability. Each piece of felt is the product of a bond with nature, patience and creativity.

I have been teaching felt making for over 10 years through group workshops, private felt classes, and volunteer programs. We've done a lot of different experimental felt works as far as our imagination takes us. It's an activity that allows you to develop focus and creativity, where you can lock in, lose track of time and concentrate deeply.
